GPS, or Global Positioning System, uses satellite signals to pinpoint a specific location on earth. By using the longitude and latitude of the GPS location of an exhibit, the CRISAccess mobile app triggers a recording about that exhibit or attraction.

Can GPS locations trigger recordings inside a building?

No, GPS cannot trigger recordings inside a building. GPS is used for outdoor attractions only.

Can a museum use BOTH QR Code signs and GPS location to trigger recordings?

Yes, CRISAccess provides both the signs and GPS location for outdoor attractions.

Can CRISAccess recordings be used to create virtual exhibits?

Yes, CRISAccess recordings can easily be integrated with virtual exhibits online by combining high resolution images of the exhibits and 3D images with the recordings.

Is a free mobile app offered with CRISAccess?

Yes, CRIS offers a free mobile app.

Does CRISAccess offer a free “welcome” recording and sign?

Yes, CRISAccess offers a free QR Code sign that triggers a welcome recording and provides a QR Code-assisted download of the CRISAccess mobile app.
